Chesapeake Urology Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical care, assist physicians, and coordinate infection control, inventory, and equipment maintenance. The role requires a MA program completion or 1 year MA experience, with urology experience a plus.

Travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region is required. Pay range is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1 year MA experience in a medical clinic required; urology experience a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare daily exam rooms with supplies for patient care.
• Escort patients to exam rooms; take vitals, collect specimens, and perform dip/urinalysis as indicated.
• Triage patient calls for pharmacy requests, test results, and medical questions; document outcomes in EHR.
• Maintain logs/records for OSHA/MOSHA; follow sterilization and disinfection practices.
• Dispose bio-hazard waste per policy; greet patients and visitors as needed.
