Job summary

Colorado Urology is seeking a Medical Assistant to coordinate clinical care and support physicians in infection control, inventory, and equipment maintenance. You will assist under physician delegation and ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires MA program completion or equivalent experience, strong triage, phlebotomy, vital signs, and CPT/ICD code knowledge. Travel to multiple sites within a reasonable region is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or one year MA clinic experience required.
• Urology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and collect vital signs; perform urinalysis as needed.
• Triage calls for pharmacy requests, test results, and medical questions; document outcomes in EHR.
• Maintain OSHA/MO SHA logs and records.
• Follow sterilization and disinfection practices.
• Proper disposal of biomedical waste.
• Greet patients and visitors as needed.
