CHMC-Neurology is seeking a versatile Medical Assistant to support our ambulatory primary care team. This full-time role emphasizes preventive care, patient experience, and safe, efficient operations across centers.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording vitals, performing phlebotomy and ECGs, and coordinating referrals. A valid NYS driver’s license is required for travel among centers, and the position calls for flexibility with weekend rotations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of direct patient care experience.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required for travel between centers.
• Valid Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and capture accurate vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy, ECGs, and basic diagnostic testing.
• Manage patient calls and coordinate referrals to ensure continuity of care.
• Support floating to various health centers and rotate weekends.
• Deliver care in alignment with established standards and procedures.
