Greater Family Health in Franklin Park, IL is seeking an Entry to mid-level Medical Assistant to support providers and nursing staff in a multi-site clinic. The role includes patient preparation, specimen collection, lab testing, and patient education. Eligibility includes a High School diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and CPR/BLS certification.

Bilingual skills are a plus. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $26.00 hourly, with up to 50% travel to NW Suburbs

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or six months MA experience.
• Active CNA license may be considered if MA training not completed.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers and nursing staff within the clinic.
• Provide patient care and manage patient follow-up.
• Handle laboratory duties and processing.
• Perform CLIA waived testing, EKGs, injections/immunizations as directed.
• Educate patients on tests and procedures.
• Retrieve test results for provider review.
• Travel to other health centers as needed.
