Job summary

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Companion Health Services leads daily operations across multiple long-term care locations in Oklahoma, supporting over 400 employees. You will ensure resident safety, high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and solid financial results while shaping strong leadership at each site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field.
• NHA license preferred.
• 5-7 years of leadership experience in long-term care or healthcare operations, preferably managing multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations for long-term care and assisted living.
• Good leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between company locations.
• Flexible to visit evening, night, or weekend shifts as needed to support 24/7 care.

• Oversee daily operations across multiple long-term care locations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations while maintaining ethical operations.
• Lead efforts to maintain CMS Five-Star Quality Ratings and other quality measures.
• Manage staffing, equipment, and supplies across locations to support care.
• Collaborate with facility and corporate leaders to align goals and resources.
• Review performance data and drive improvements in operations and finances.
• Promote teamwork and clear communication between leadership and staff.
• Prepare for surveys and regulatory inspections and respond effectively.
