Job summary

Companion Health Services is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead daily operations across several long-term care locations in Oklahoma. You will oversee 400+ employees in clinical and non-clinical roles, partner with facility and corporate leaders, and ensure high-quality, compliant, financially sound operations.

The COO will drive standard policies, quality initiatives (CMS Five-Star), staffing optimization, risk management, and performance measurement, while building a positive work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field.
• NHA license preferred.
• 5–7 years of leadership experience in long-term care or healthcare operations, multi-site preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between locations and support 24/7 care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple long-term care locations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Lead quality improvement programs and maintain CMS Five-Star ratings.
• Manage staffing, budgets, equipment, and supplies across sites.
• Collaborate with facility and corporate leaders to align goals and resources.
• Coach facility leaders and promote teamwork and accountability.
• Monitor performance data and drive operational improvements.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and surveys and respond effectively.
