Job summary

Harris Teeter, LLC. seeks a Floater Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services across store locations, including dispensing, patient counseling and supervising technicians.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist, in good standing, within the state(s) of the region, as necessary
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited, state-approved organization
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to understand and solve complex problems

Responsibilities

• Be dedicated to the overall pharmacy department success by executing strategy, motivating staff as the pharmacist‑on‑duty, setting priorities to maximize contribution, and seek feedback and opportunities for advancement
• Perform all functions of a pharmacist and act as a role model for the pharmacy team; appropriately handle customer complaints and direct workflow to reduce customer wait times
• Fulfill customer’s prescription needs while concentrating on the accuracy of every prescription filled
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws
• Maintain a professional image through personal appearance, conduct and attitude and the physical condition of the pharmacy; adhere to pharmacy standards and enforce company dress standards
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendors
