Job summary

Harris Teeter, LLC in Wilmington, NC seeks a Floater Pharmacist (Modified Hours) to provide professional pharmacy services, including filling prescriptions, counseling patients, immunizations, and supervising pharmacy technicians.

You will model leadership as the pharmacist-on-duty, ensure compliance with laws, maintain accuracy, manage inventory, and support store operations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state(s) required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy.
• Immunization and CPR certifications required.
• Strong communication and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Be dedicated to overall pharmacy department success by executing strategy, motivating staff as the pharmacist-on-duty, setting priorities to maximize contribution.
• Perform all functions of a pharmacist and act as a role model for the pharmacy team; appropriately handle customer complaints and direct workflow to reduce customer wait times.
• Fulfill customer’s prescription needs while concentrating on the accuracy of every prescription filled.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws.
• Provide direct patient clinical services, including immunizations, patient coaching services and medication therapy management.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians when acting as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, policies/procedures, record keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, proper operation of all equipment, pricing, planograms, returns, budgets, reports to management, and product recalls per company policy.
