Job summary

Traders Point Christian Church is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across TPCC campuses. The role helps advance our mission by removing barriers to worship and events while coordinating with leadership on daily tasks and safety protocols.

You will perform custodial duties, attend staff meetings, and travel between sites to prep facilities for services and groups. A high school diploma is required, and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must understand that maintaining outstanding environments is a ministry to attenders and outside groups.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to self-lead efficiently and effectively.
• Thorough knowledge of custodial functions, floor care, custodial chemicals, and safety.
• Able to manage several projects simultaneously as assigned.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary facilitator for Sunday services at Multisite campuses.
• May fill in as point person in absence of Facilities Manager and Multisite Facilities Lead.
• Maintain a competent, dependable, personable, and ministry-minded team.
• Attend TPCC staff meetings.
• Complete understanding of custodial chemicals, chemical safety, and usage.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures for building usage in absence of leadership.
• Complete assigned daily tasks in Jira.
• Travel to multisite for cleaning prep for groups and Sunday services.
• Communicate with Facilities Director regarding incomplete tasks needing attention.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and preparedness to execute plans.
