Job summary

CrossPoint City Church in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the Facilities Director in day-to-day oversight of church facilities and security. You will help manage upkeep, repairs, and event prep, and you will build a capable facility setup team.

You will coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure spaces are ready for gatherings, manage inventory, and assist with budgetary controls.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
• Ability to lead and assist others with construction, installation, maintenance and repair.
• Proficient in operating hand and power tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented.
• Doctrinal beliefs congruent with CrossPoint City Church.
• Ability to manage facilities and security tasks in a church setting.
• Ability to read and follow schedules and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Director in overseeing daily facility upkeep.
• Coordinate facility usage requests and ensure rooms are prepared.
• Assist in inventory management for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Support Facilities and Security serve teams during events.
• Recruit and equip leaders on the team to align with church mission.
• Travel locally as needed; attend staff meetings.
• Adhere to the Employee Handbook and church policies.
