Job summary

Centro de la Familia invites applications for a Center Aide Substitute. This entry-level role supports the classroom, helps maintain a safe playground, and promotes health, safety, and school readiness for young learners.

You may work across multiple locations within the center, with opportunities to contribute to transportation, kitchen operations, family services, and development-focused activities, while respecting bilingual (Spanish/English) environments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Entry-level role; enthusiasm for working with children.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort sitting on the floor and active involvement with children 0-5.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handler permits or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom assistance and supervision.
• Ensure a safe playground and maintain health and safety practices.
• Assist with transportation, kitchen operations, and family services as needed.
• Support teachers with developmental activities and inclusive practices.
• Promote bilingual (Spanish/English) learning and positive behavior.
