Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of property maintenance and mechanical repair experience.
• Two-year trade school certificate focusing on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building control systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to provide clear directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate building equipment and systems as directed by Chief Engineer/Manager.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment to cost-effectively improve building systems.
• Respond to service requests (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and perform related repairs.
• Conduct building rounds and record meter readings.
• Escalate issues to Chief Engineer or Property Management as needed.
• Assist in vendor coordination and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Provide on-call maintenance during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain inventory and use hand tools for day-to-day tasks.
