Job summary

Granite Recovery Center is seeking a Full Time APRN to report to the Medical Director and oversee daily medical flow and admissions for new clients. The role emphasizes collaboration with the nursing team and a patient-centered approach in a detox setting.

The APRN will identify chronic and acute medical needs, document findings, and maintain professional conduct while contributing to quality care and ongoing provider communication across the treatment team.

Qualifications

• APRN licensure and certification in the appropriate state, maintains current licensure per state requirements.
• Malpractice insurance coverage
• Current CPR and Standard First Aid Certificate
• DEA license preferred
• Previous experience working in and a strong commitment to a team environment
• Previous work with addictions, mental illness, and homelessness or willingness to learn understanding of the systemic issues affecting those we serve preferred.
• Knowledge/experience of how to safely de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day medical flow and admissions process for new clients.
• Communicate chronic and acute medical needs to nursing team.
• Represent the facility professionally and promote a collaborative environment.
• Conduct admission assessments including physicals for newly admitted clients.
• Discuss code blue and medical transfers with the team.
