Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs seeks a Multi-Site Childcare Director to oversee after-school programs across two Vermont locations. This hybrid leadership + hands-on role will work with Site Directors and staff to maintain required staffing ratios and ensure high-quality programming.

You’ll oversee regulatory compliance (VT DCF), staffing stability, enrollment health, and smooth daily operations across sites, with a strong emphasis on safety and engaging activities for children aged 5–12.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing after-school programs across multiple sites.
• Ability to support Site Directors and staff while maintaining staffing ratios.
• Familiarity with VT DCF regulations and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple school-based programs across two Vermont locations.
• Provide coaching to Site Directors and staff to improve program quality.
• Ensure safe, inclusive, and enriching environments and compliance readiness.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staffing coverage to control payroll costs.
• Monitor timecards and payroll accuracy; address call-outs and operational challenges.
