Job summary

Feralloy Corporation is hiring for multiple full-time roles—Crane Operators, Machine Operators, and Packers—at our steel service center. Safety is a priority; duties include crane operation, loading, inspection, and packaging to meet customer specs.

Qualifications

• Experience with overhead cranes is preferred (2+ years).
• Experience in steel processing, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and make sound decisions.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to work with team members and supervisors.
• Willingness to work night or overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to work orders and customer specifications.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Inspect materials for quality, dimensions, and defects throughout production and packaging.
• Package, wrap, band, and secure finished products to meet customer requirements.
• Complete production and inspection documentation accurately and report quality or safety concerns.
• Maintain production flow by coordinating material movement and assisting team members.
• Perform routine equipment checks and follow safety procedures while operating machinery and cranes.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to promote a safe work environment.

We are seeking a full-time Crane Operators, Machine Operators, and Packers to join our fast-paced steel service center. Safety is our number one priority, and team members are expected to follow all safety procedures, perform required equipment inspections, and work with plant personnel to achieve daily production goals.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
