Job summary

Morning Brew Inc. is seeking a shooter/editor excited to work on diverse video content for multiple platforms. You’ll influence story, tone, and visuals alongside producers and a motion graphics team, while driving efficient edits and creative input.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years editing with Premiere Pro and shooting experience for YouTube/social video, plus comfort with basic After Effects. Must be able to work from our Manhattan office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• 4+ years shooting experience, preferably with field/verite shooting.
• Experience creating content for YouTube and social platforms.
• Basic proficiency in After Effects or Photoshop is a nice-to-have.
• Ability to be scrappy in Premiere when creating graphics and text elements.

Responsibilities

• Shooting and editing 10-20 minute YouTube videos in a variety of styles.
• Shooting and editing 1-3 minute vertical video for Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
• Partnering with producers to craft story, tone, and visual direction.
• Music selection, sound design, basic color correction and audio leveling.
• Working with motion graphics designers to efficiently incorporate animations.
• Add basic VFX looks with keyframing and Red Giant effects.
