Job summary

TEGNA Inc.'s Boise NBC station KTVB-T is seeking a skilled Photojournalist to create compelling content for TV, social media and streaming. The ideal candidate will tell great stories on their own or with a team and be proficient with the latest photography and editing tools.

They should be comfortable with live news gathering and engaging viewers across platforms. Current driver's license and ability to operate a news gathering vehicle to multiple locations are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in journalism, communications or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred in a newsroom environment.
• Experience in photojournalism, editing, and content management systems.

Responsibilities

• Capture compelling video and audio for news, sports, features and documentary stories under daily deadlines.
• Operate an ENG truck or IP-based live unit (TVU) when assigned.
• Work solo or in a team for daily news assignments and attend editorial meetings.
