Job summary

WRAL is seeking a newsroom storyteller to write daily stories for WRAL.com and TV newscasts, pitch ideas from tips and research, and conduct in-depth reporting.

You will clip video for digital platforms, select TV audio/visuals, and craft eye-catching headlines and banners while filling graphics and publishing push notifications.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of local, state, and national news.
• Ability to collaborate with reporters, producers, editors, photographers, and digital teams under deadline pressure.
• Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities
