PBS Fort Wayne is seeking an Associate Producer to support studio, field, and documentary productions in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This full-time, in-office role requires shooting, lighting, audio, and editing across all production stages.

The position supports the COO/Head of Production and involves coordinating schedules, talent, and cross-department collaboration. Applicants should have a bachelor’s in film/broadcast or related field, strong editing skills (Adobe Premiere), and the ability to work

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on editing, field and studio experience with production workflows.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and basic cinema camera, lighting, and sound equipment.

Mansioni

• Pitch and develop story ideas, write scripts for episodes and segments.
• Coordinate shooting/editing schedules; book external talent and liaise between departments.
• Produce content using Adobe CC; build graphics and mix audio.
• Set up studio/field lighting and sound; troubleshoot production issues.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, licenses, and general administrative tasks.
• Ensure high-quality audio/visual materials in compliance with PBS standards.
