Job summary

Indiana Historical Society is seeking a Video Producer and Editor to shoot, edit, and deliver compelling digital content that brings Indiana stories to life across platforms. Based in Indianapolis, this full-time role reports to the Director of Content and Digital Engagement.

The position requires five or more years of experience in video production and editing, strong audio and lighting skills, and a willingness to learn motion graphics.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in video production or related field.
• Ability to shoot and edit videos, record clean audio, light interviews, and edit finished pieces for public use.
• Willingness to learn motion graphics and enhance visual storytelling.
• Experience with common editing software and a strong commitment to inclusive storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit digital content.
• Support podcasts production.
• Identify and capture onsite footage opportunities for use in multiple platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
