Job summary

MUHA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic exams across designated areas, following established procedures. You will obtain patient histories, explain routines, and address patient concerns in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include AMA approved radiologic technology education, ARRT registration, SC SCRQSA licensure, and BLS certification. On-site role with a 36-hour week and a $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• Registered with ARRT and licensed by SCRQSA in SC.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA/ARC).
• At least 2 years of multi-modality imaging experience.

Job Description

Performs CT scan and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scans and radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.

Education

Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography. Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Work Experience: At least 2 years of multi-modality experience.

Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT Advanced Modality Registration, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Skill Sets: Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.
