Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

Works under minimal supervision with physicians to perform two or more of the following: MRI, CT, US, Mammography, and/or Diagnostic Imaging. Responsibilities include exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance.

Position Details

Multi-Modality Technologist, $10K Sign-On Bonus

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Graduate from AMA-approved school
  • Licenses and Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC, ARRT-R Radiography Licensed by Texas Medical Board (excluding MRI), ARRT-CT Licensed by Texas Medical Board (excluding MRI), ARRT-MR Licensed by Texas Medical Board (excluding MRI), ARRT-Mammography Licensed by Texas Medical Board (excluding MRI), ARRT Breast Sonography Licensed by Texas Medical Board (excluding MRI) — all upon hire
PREFERRED
  • 2 years of experience
SHIFT

Mon-Tue/Thu-Fri, 2PM-12:30AM, with on-call

JOB DUTIES
  • Review physician orders for accuracy and applicability; screen patients for contraindications; discuss findings with radiologist; document changes; coordinate resources.
  • Participate in patient hand-offs; explain procedures; assist physicians; ensure proper documentation; perform procedures accurately and timely.
  • Complete exam charges; administer contrast; monitor patients; provide patient education and support.
  • Perform quality control testing; handle equipment service; archive and store images; participate in accreditation.
  • Perform post-processing on images; include advanced imaging analyses; lift 40-50 lbs as needed.
  • Respond professionally to inquiries; communicate shift hand-offs; participate in training; collaborate within the team; prioritize workflow; adhere to policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Support research activities as applicable; perform other duties as assigned.
