Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lakeway, a Baylor Scott & White Health facility, seeks a Multimodality Technologist in Lakeway, TX. This role requires ARRT/RCIS with additional certifications and an associate degree in Radiology, with the opportunity to cross-train into Cath and IR.

The position features a 4 days/week day shift (7am–5:30pm) and a $15,000 sign-on bonus with relocation assistance. Candidates should be prepared for 3 proc suites and handling diverse modalities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology and ARRT or graduate of a related program.
• ARRT or RCIS with additional certifications (e.g., CI, VI, CT, MRI, Mammo) or RCIS+ARRT combo.
• Credential geared toward individuals with additional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol.
• Maintains radiation dose reference levels and monitors exposure.
• Uses iSTAT point-of-care testing for creatinine levels.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and ensures correct exam.
• Prepares the patient and area, positions patient, and sets appropriate exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and cleanliness; coordinates with engineers/physicists.
• Maintains documentation and imaging records in department systems.
• May serve as a preceptor and train new staff; may take call if required.
