Job summary

The Multi-modality Imaging Technologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will perform DR plain film x-ray and may operate MR, ULS, CT, CI, or VI. The role includes patient education and quality assessment within the Imaging Division, under supervision of the Imaging Manager/Associate Director.

Experience in two advanced modalities or current advanced certifications is required, with placement across OSU imaging sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Radiography license and ARRT (R) certification required.
• ODH licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in at least 2 advanced modalities (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) or current advanced certifications.
• Final candidates subject to background check; drug screen or physical may be required.

Scope of Position

The Multi-modality position applies in all locations where Imaging Services are provided: University Hospital, East Hospital, The James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Position Summary

The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist will be required to perform DR plain film x-ray and two or all of the following modalities: MR, ULS, CT, CI, VI. Technologists will be required to provide patient education and quality assessment activities for the Imaging Division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager and/or Associate Director. This position may include the same activities at any of our Imaging Sites.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH licensure required. Minimum of one year experience in at least 2 advanced modalities (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) or current advanced certifications (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) required.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
