Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a PRN Multimodality Tech MRI/X‑Ray in Fort Worth, Texas. This position involves performing quality diagnostic procedures, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring safe patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, AMA-approved radiologic technology training, and at least two years of MRI experience. They will provide excellent patient care and adhere to strict safety protocols while documenting all actions in the Electronic Health Record.

Qualifications

  • Two to five years’ experience specific to MRI.
  • Current and Active ARRT (MR) Certificate.
  • Current and Active MRT General License.
  • Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment and prepare exam rooms.
  • Provide excellent patient care throughout the facility.
  • Practice proper MRI safety techniques.
  • Perform quality control checks and maintain accurate logs.
  • Investigate and communicate unusual incidents.

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is hiring a PRN Multimodality Tech MRI/X‑Ray.

Job Overview

This position performs quality diagnostic procedures for the hospital and outpatient center, operating MRI equipment and ensuring safe, efficient care.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment, prepare exam rooms, supplies, and medications.
  • Provide excellent patient care throughout the facility.
  • Practice proper MRI safety techniques with patients, visitors, and employees.
  • Perform all quality‑control checks as prescribed.
  • Maintain accurate QC logs and service records.
  • Perform highest‑quality imaging consistent with prescribed examinations; document any deviations.
  • Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
  • Investigate, follow up on, and communicate unusual incidents with Radiology Leadership.
  • Take an emergency call as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Communicate with radiologists to establish requirements for nonstandard examinations and determine appropriate technical factors.
  • Demonstrate responsibility for patient care and safety, minimizing hazards such as projectiles, electric shock, and burns.
  • Screen all patients and visitors entering Zone 3.
  • Monitor equipment and patients during exams to assess any changes.
  • Prioritize care and plan interventions based on patient age groups.
  • Explain treatment and provide educational information to patients and families.
  • Utilize the Electronic Health Record for patient documentation.
Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of AMA‑approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current and Active ARRT (MR) Certificate.
  • Current and Active MRT General License.
  • Current BLS Certification.
