Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is looking for a full-time Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in El Paso, Texas. You will perform complex imaging procedures with minimal supervision while ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires you to complete exams and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualified candidates should have graduated from an accredited Imaging Program and have 2 years of clinical experience in multiple modalities, including eligibility for ARRT certification. A supportive environment with continued education opportunities awaits.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Rotate

Job Type: Full Time

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
• Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program, CT/MRI registry eligible.
• Experience: 2 years clinical experience in more than one modality. ARRT CT/MRI registry eligible required. Preferred: ARRT CT or MRI.
• Certifications: ARRT (R) and documentation of CT or MRI experience, must obtain advance credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire. AHA BLS; state license if required.
