Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a CT, Mammography, or MRI Dual Registered Technologist to join the Imaging team. Under general supervision, you will perform high quality Radiology and CT/Mammo/MRI examinations for patients from neonates to geriatrics for physician interpretation.

You will operate imaging equipment, follow radiation safety guidelines, provide radiographic support hospital-wide, and position patients with immobilization devices to minimize repeats.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school or training program and ARRT registered.
• Licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
• Current BLS certification required.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and CT, Mammography or MRI Tech. Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
