Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Specialty Clinic – Lakeway is seeking a skilled sonographer to perform multi-modality ultrasound services, including abdominal, Ob/Gyn, cardiac, vascular, and small parts. The role requires registry at hire, an associate degree or equivalent Radiology training, and 2 years of related experience with registration.

PRN schedule with a minimum of 3 shifts in 6 weeks; Lakeway location offers diverse services and a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have registry at time of hire/transfer: RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS).
• Education: Associate's degree or graduate of an accredited Radiology or RCS program OR 2 years of work experience + registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple modality ultrasound procedures with various equipment to deliver high-quality results.
• Identify abnormalities and extend examination scope as needed while correlating with other tests.
• Assist physicians in procedures or ORs by performing ultrasound studies when required.
• Prepare patients, gather history, and explain procedures to ensure accurate imaging and minimal delays.
• Maintain ultrasound lab equipment and assist with accreditation activities.
