Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a multimodality technologist to join our radiography and CT team. The role involves performing radiographic and CT scan procedures, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality for interpretation.

You must graduate from an accredited radiography program, hold ARRT CT and radiography certifications (within 24 months of hire), and maintain BLS during employment. Weekend shifts and a $15,000 sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology.
• Required Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification.
• Required ARRT (CT) certification.
• Required ARRT Rad Tech certification within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains working knowledge of radiographic and CT equipment in the department.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT and X-Ray procedures per procedure manual.
• Adjusts technical factors based on patient and body part to minimize radiation.
• Prepares and/or administers contrast media (oral/IV/rectal).
• Checks patient charts for labs/allergies prior to IV contrast administration.
• Ensures radiation protection for patient, staff, and self according to safety standards.

About the Job:

The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A multimodality technologist performs radiographic and CT Scan procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintains a working knowledge of all radiographic and CT Scan equipment within the department.
• Prepares and positions patient for CT and X‑Ray procedures according to the procedure manual.
• Adjusts technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation.
• Prepares and/or administers contrast media, i.e., orally, IV, rectally.
• Checks patient charts for lab results and allergies prior to the administration of IV contrast.
• Provides radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.

Who You Are:

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology.
• Required Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification.
• Required ARRT (CT) certification.
• Required within 24 months of hire ARRT (Rad Tech) certification.
• Required Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.

Every weekend- Londonderry -8am-8pm opposite weekend Bedford 6am-4pm

Every Monday Bedford 7am-4:30pm
