Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Grayling, MI, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures and patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires ARRT Radiography certification or eligibility and BLS; employment is contingent on ARRT certification within six months.

The position offers a $27,000 sign-on bonus and a commitment to ongoing education, safety, and professional growth within the imaging department of northern Michigan's largest health system.

Qualifications

• Must have passed or is eligible for the examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography.
• Continued employment is provisional based on completion and certification by the ARRT within six months. Registered technologists must be in good standing
• Maintains BLS certification with biannual renewal

Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety & Professional Conduct: follow safety procedures and maintain professional appearance.
• Provide High-Quality Patient Care: care for patients from arrival to departure with courtesy and discretion.
• Perform Imaging Procedures Accurately: operate imaging equipment and assist with contrast media and patient handling.
• Maintain Equipment, Rooms & Supplies: keep imaging rooms clean, stocked, and report malfunctions.
• Support Department Operations: assist leadership in their absence and participate in continuing education.
