Job summary

UVA Community Health seeks a Radiographer, Multimodality I, to join its imaging team. You will assist physicians, operate imaging equipment, and help deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.
• 2 years of diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
• Must hold ARRT and/or NMTCB radiology/therapy certification; CT cross-training or CT certification required.
• Registry-eligible must obtain ARRT CT within 1 year of hire.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment and patient age-specific care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures by preparing patient and operating imaging equipment.
• Integrate scientific knowledge with patient interaction to provide quality care and diagnostic information.
• Maintain knowledge of imaging protocols and ensure proper radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
