Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center seeks a Multi-modality Technologist to perform x-ray and CT exams, adhering to ARRT standards and department policies. The role requires knowledge of anatomy, patient care, and radiation safety, with focus on high-quality scans for diverse age groups.

You will operate CT equipment, document properly, support Radiologists during procedures, and ensure equipment readiness. Prior CT experience and MRT certification with TMB are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• One year experience as Radiology Technologist in acute care setting preferred.
• One year experience performing CT procedures required.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and CT preferred.
• BLS certification per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and CT exams per ARRT standards and department policies.
• Follow established scanning/viewing protocols and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment efficiently to meet urgent requests.
• Complete required documentation on forms/logs/workstation/Meditech.
• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and ensure supplies availability.
• Maintain CT and department equipment functionality.
