Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered CT Technologist within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional CT scanning training.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately position patients on CT table and assist as needed.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as required.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients before discharge.
• Prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
