Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli (North America) Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Load Planner to manage day-to-day transportation planning across intermodal, truckload, and LTL.

You will coordinate with customer service, distribution centers, carriers, and planning teams to optimize service levels and costs while ensuring on-time execution. Responsibilities include reviewing routes and freight costs, assigning refrigerated carriers, and communicating proactively with partners to minimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day load planning for multiple transportation modes (intermodal, truckload, LTL).
• Coordinate daily load planning across operations, reviewing for service and cost improvements.
• Collaborate with customer service, plants/DCs, and carriers to optimize performance.
• Monitor shipments and resolve issues with warehousing and transportation partners.
• Work with the Transportation Management System (TMS) for scheduling, reporting, and analytics.
