Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Transportation Engineer II in Philadelphia, PA to execute complex transportation engineering tasks, develop sustainable mobility solutions, and support multi-modal projects with a focus on safety and livability.

You will work with senior staff to deliver plans, analyses, and reports, mentor junior engineers, and assist with client engagement, grant applications, and project coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Three or more (3+) years of professional engineering experience with emphasis on transportation engineering.
• Familiarity with DOT permitting and ADA standards.
• EIT preferred; PE registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare maps and graphics for public and client meetings, data analysis, field reviews, and data collection.
• Prepare engineering plans and reports.
• Coordinate with client and outside agencies; assist with grant applications.
