Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks a Bridge Design Engineer III to join our team in PA. You will lead complex transportation design tasks, develop plans, and prepare reports for multiple infrastructure projects, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and agencies.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of transportation experience, and EIT; PE is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office is required, with opportunities across Exton, Camp Hill,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• Five+ years of professional engineering experience with emphasis on transportation engineering or related field.
• EIT Registration required, or six+ years of successful transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration or ability to receive within six months preferred.
• Experience with the preparation of construction plans and/or studies for roadway or traffic projects required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of proposals and engage with clients and agencies.
• Direct tasks on projects and monitor progress for technical accuracy, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare engineering plans and reports for transportation projects.
• Mentor junior staff and provide QA/QC for multiple projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and external partners.
