Job summary

Bowman Consulting in Boston, MA is seeking a Transportation Assistant Project Manager to join our team. You will support administration, technical and management tasks across transportation and infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while promoting multimodal solutions and safe design.

Working with senior staff, you’ll help coordinate schedules, budgets, client communications and QA/QC, mentoring junior members and contributing to proposals and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• EIT registration or 9+ years of transportation engineering experience required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related design software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise project personnel to ensure adherence to high professional standards.
• Assist with budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and client management tasks.
• Draft reports, plans, specifications, and correspondence for transportation projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to meet project objectives.
