Meta's Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) is seeking Research Scientist Interns for the FAIR Communication & Language teams. The internship focuses on advancing NLP, audio and speech processing, computer vision, and multimodal learning, with opportunities to develop core algorithms and scale ideas to real-world data.

Internships run from 12 to 24 weeks with multiple start dates. Applicants should be pursuing a PhD in NLP, ML, CV, or related fields and have experience with Python and C++, LLMs or

Qualifications

• PhD in NLP/AI or related field.
• Experience with LLMs, speech processing, CV, ML or DL.
• Experience in Python, C++ or similar languages.

Responsabilités

• Perform research to enable learning semantics across text, audio, images, video, and other modalities.
• Review literature, brainstorm with mentors, and evaluate real-world problems.
• Develop novel solutions, implement prototypes, and run experiments.
• Draft and polish research reports or publications.
• Present results to internal and external audiences.
• Contribute research applicable to Meta product development.
