Job summary

Rovrstack in New York City seeks an AI/ML Engineer to deliver key products in the pipeline, enabling us to scale to thousands of healthcare practices. You will build features ranging from usability to massive growth and a wide array of engineering requirements.

You’ll define, drive, and deliver the technical roadmap of the team and define the infrastructure for the next 5 years and beyond.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science, Physics, or related area or equivalent experience.
7-8+ years of hands-on experience in back-end engineering roles, primarily utilizing Python.
Fluency in asynchronous Python, SQL, and First Principles Thinking.
Expert in Database Schema Design.
Deep understanding of code performance.
Proficiency with back-end frameworks such as FastAPI and cloud services like AWS.
Track record of medium-to-large databases with > 1 million rows.
Advanced experience with data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

Write highly concurrent, asynchronous, multi-threaded Python code to orchestrate AI Agents.
Produce quality software shipped incrementally at high velocity.
Optimize database queries and caching to improve system performance.
Engineer scalable, reliable distributed systems for large user bases.
Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to plan features for a high-quality product.
Protect user data and address security enhancements.
Drive code reviews and promote best practices.
Diagnose backend issues and ensure platform stability.
