Marquee Broadcasting West Inc. in Mills, WY is seeking a Sports Reporter/MultiMedia Journalist to join our award-winning news team. You will learn and grow in the broadcast industry by developing stories, shooting, editing, and going live, with a strong emphasis on local sports coverage.

Expect to post timely web content and meet daily deadlines while reporting live from events. A journalism degree or equivalent, plus a demo reel and a valid driver’s license, are required for this full-time

A degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Develop story ideas, shoot, edit, and go live, with emphasis on local sports, for TV and digital platforms.
Meet tight daily deadlines for broadcast and post original web content promptly.
Report live from various sporting events as needed.
Knowledge of non-linear video editing programs is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility in scheduling to respond to the changing news landscape.
