Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization and execution of complex visual projects across digital, print, web, social media, and video platforms; align with brand strategy and technical specifications.
• Work on high-level design and video projects from wireframes to final production; collaborate with marketing and technical teams to optimize UX and aesthetics.
• Create and integrate visual, audio, and interactive content for digital platforms and presentations.
• Independently manage production workflows from concept to delivery, including shoots, animations, and web media.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure multimedia products meet technical requirements and 508 standards.

Position Title: Multimedia Specialist II Location: Mc Lean, VA, (occasional support at FHWA HQ, Washington, DC) Clearance required: Unclassified. Requires USDOT badge and favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI, low risk / non-sensitive); E-Verify required

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Spearhead the conceptualization and execution of complex visual projects across digital, print, web, social media, and video platforms, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and technical specifications.
• Work on high-level design and video projects from wireframing to final production, collaborating with marketing and technical teams to optimize user experience and aesthetic impact.
• Create and integrate visual, audio, and interactive content for digital platforms and presentations.
• Independently manage production workflows from beginning to end, including design concepts, photo shoots, video shoots, animations, and web-based media.
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to ensure multimedia products align with technical requirements and follow Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
