The University of Central Missouri is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to install, maintain, and support audio/visual systems across campus classrooms and venues in Warrensburg, MO. The role supports the university's online learning program and trains end-users on multimedia technologies and control systems.
You will collaborate with stakeholders on AV projects, lead standard project plans, and help improve enterprise AV infrastructure for reliability and performance. On-site work is required.

Multimedia Specialist
Under the general lead of the Coordinator of Multimedia Technologies, the Multimedia Specialist is responsible for providing multimedia related services to over 300 classrooms, and some 100 conference rooms and other venues across 60 buildings on the UCM Campus. The position also supports the University's well-established online learning program. More specifically, the position will: Install and support audio/visual and classroom technologies; Provide consultation for deployment projects and other multimedia related efforts; Train end-users on the use of multimedia technology and control systems; Prepare and maintain documentation.
Managing and expanding audio/visual operational activities: - 70%
Leading, guiding and developing audio-visual technology-related projects and services: - 20%
Maintaining an accurate inventory and documentation of all UCM -owned technology devices and software: - 10%

This role requires full-time, on-site work at our Warrensburg, Missouri campus and is not eligible for full-time remote work. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site in Warrensburg, Missouri each day.
