KCRA 3 in Sacramento is seeking a Special Projects Photographer and Editor to capture California's stories for TV, digital, streaming and social media. You’ll shoot in the field, edit with Premiere and After Effects, and work with reporters and managers to produce engaging content.

The role requires 3+ years of videography experience, ability to lift 30 pounds, a valid license, and willingness to work varied shifts. Bilingual skills are a plus, and integrity is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional videography experience.
• Can lift up to 30 pounds of equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience with digital editing tools (Premiere, After Effects).
• Willing to work varied shifts as needed.
• Exemplary integrity and ethical standards.
• Bilingual experience is a plus.
• Military experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Shoot and edit content for linear, digital, and social platforms.
• Operate assigned professional camera equipment.
• Edit using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
• Collaborate with reporters, producers and managers to craft stories.
• Manage catalog systems to save, store, and locate video.
• Maintain organization and gear/equipment.
• Handle other editing tasks as assigned by news managers.
