Hearst Communications, Inc. through KCRA 3 in Sacramento seeks a Special Projects Photographer and Editor to capture California stories for TV, digital, streaming and social media.

You will shoot in the field for several hours daily, edit with Premiere and After Effects, and collaborate with reporters and managers. Responsibilities include shooting and editing content on professional gear, organizing footage, and supporting all phases of story production while meeting deadlines and maintaining

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional videography experience.
• Carry up to 30 pounds of equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with digital editing tools (Premiere/After Effects).
• Willing to work varied shifts; ability to meet deadlines.
• Bilingual is a plus; related military experience considered.
• Exhibit integrity and ethical standards; work across weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Shoot and edit content in formats for linear, digital and social platforms.
• Shoot on assigned professional camera equipment.
• Edit in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
• Collaborate with reporters, producers and managers to produce stories.
• Work with catalog systems to save/store, record and locate video.
• Maintain organization and care of gear and equipment.
• Perform other editing responsibilities as assigned by news managers.
