Job summary

Yale University in New Haven is seeking a Media and Communications Specialist for the Human Nature Lab to lead video and multimedia content creation, support grant applications, and present research to general and scientific audiences.

You will develop written materials for proposals and progress reports, help update the Lab website, coordinate logistics for domestic and international fieldwork, and assist with regulatory documentation as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with video production, filming, editing, and multimedia content creation for scientific communication, outreach, or journalism purposes.
Strong writing skills for research summaries, reports, web content, or grant materials.
Experience updating and managing website content for public-facing platforms.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced research environment.

Responsibilities

Administers a department program and supports grant-funded projects in a behavioral and biosocial lab.
Coordinate and oversee multiple special projects with effective communication to stakeholders.
Manage administration including use of resources and outreach efforts as needed.
Assist with travel, events, fieldwork logistics, and regulatory documentation.
