Job summary

32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Multimedia Producer to create compelling short-form videos, digital, and print content that advances the Health Fund’s priorities and improves members’ understanding of their health benefits. You will manage projects from concept to production using visual storytelling, graphics, social videos, print, and other multimedia formats to showcase the Funds’ programs and services.

Qualifications

3–5 years of videography, multimedia content creation, graphic design, or related disciplines.
Professional portfolio demonstrating video production and graphic design work.
Experience in public health, healthcare, labor unions, or nonprofit organizations.
Ability to translate business needs into creative deliverables for internal stakeholders.
Strong understanding of social-first video and visual storytelling to engage audiences.
Excellent design skills translating complex information into clear visuals.
Experience optimizing visual content based on engagement metrics.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Commitment to producing health-focused content.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Conceive, produce, shoot, and edit short-form videos.
Develop each video’s script, storyboard concept for audience and channel.
Manage pre- to post-production details and governance, releases, approvals, scheduling.
Contribute to visual brand guidelines and design social graphics and assets.
Produce social-first video content and educational videos for digital/internal channels.
Design health-benefit postcards, flyers, and printed materials.
Monitor engagement against targets and optimize campaigns.
Photograph and record members, funds staff, partners, and events as needed.
Manage multiple projects, schedules, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Collaborate across Health Fund and other departments; coordinate with vendors.
Provide other duties as directed by leadership.
