Mercatus Center in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Producer to join the Strategic Engagement Team. The role is hybrid, with at least two days per week in the office, and focuses on producing podcasts, videos, and multimedia content that expands Mercatus research impact.

The ideal candidate manages productions end-to-end from concept to publication, balancing priorities across scholars and colleagues, and improving workflows for higher production quality.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of professional experience in podcast, video, or multimedia production.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience producing professional audio and video content for digital platforms.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop).
• Experience with remote recording platforms (Riverside, Zoom) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end production of podcasts, videos, and multimedia content.
• Coordinate recording logistics and post-production workflows.
• Edit or oversee audio and video to ensure quality and accessibility.
• Collaborate with scholars and stakeholders to align content with goals.
• Produce direct-to-camera videos and promotional assets.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines.
