KERA is seeking a creative, fast-moving Multimedia Producer who can shoot, direct, and edit original content across all KERA brands, from TV spots to digital storytelling.
The role requires directing in the field and turning around polished edits under tight deadlines, with a marketer’s eye to serve the brand. Applicants with no TV background are welcome.
KERA is seeking a creative, fast-moving storyteller who can pick up a camera, find the shot, and turn it into something people want to watch, then repeat the process for multiple brands under the KERA family.
The Multimedia Producer will co-produce and direct with KERA colleagues across the organization. This individual will shoot and edit original content across all of KERA's brands including multi-media promotional spots, television fundraising campaigns, and stories that bring our community to life.
The ideal candidate is just as comfortable directing a shoot in the field as they are turning around a polished edit on a tight deadline. This individual will think like a marketer, not just an editor, and recognize that every cut serves the story and the brand.
KERA welcomes applicants who have never worked in a television setting.
This position is classified as FLSA exempt and is not eligible for overtime. The Multimedia Producer reports to the Creative Director and is a member of the Creative Services team.
We believe a strong organization includes employees from a range of backgrounds, with different skills, experiences, and passions.
