Job summary

• Experience in journalism, radio or multimedia preferred.
• Strong writing and copy editing skills required.
• Comfortable contacting people by phone to secure interviews.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to assign, produce, write and edit multimedia news stories.
• Have the opportunity to create original content.
• Learn to pitch ideas and communicate why a piece will work.
• Hone news judgment and work under deadline pressure.
• Report and produce stories for radio and digital audiences, including basic audio editing.
• Collaborate with and shadow reporters and editors.
