Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Broadcast experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write, research, order and prepare shows for anchors.
• Write and edit wire and original news copy for broadcast.
• Gather additional sound for news stories.
• Fact-check and review news stories and reporter scripts.
• Plot daily news flow with the Broadcast Managing Editor.
• Write and occasionally voice digital-only news segments for local air.
• Keep anchor shows updated with fresh sound and copy.
• Monitor ongoing stories and update shows as information changes.
